Starter – Onion Bhaji
Made with ‘Cook with Owen’s’ Great Taste Award winning, hand curated Bhaji spice mix, the onion bhaji is handcrafted, using finely sliced onions, smothered in a fragrantly spiced batter and cooked to crispy perfection.

Main Course – Authentic Durban Chicken Curry
Originating from the Indian community in Durban, South Africa, this tomato-based curry is a vibrant and flavourful dish, known for its rich spices and distinctive heat, giving it depth and complexity. Served with basmati rice. (GF)

South African Butternut Squash Curry
A delicious spiced South African curry, using seasonal squash, simmered in a rich, aromatic curry, made with freshly ground roasted spices and a vibrant tomato base.
Bursting with authentic flavours, this dish balances, warmth, spice and a hint of sweetness. Served with basmati rice. (GF) (V)
Dessert – Traditional Malva Pudding
A beautiful, baked, caramelised sponge infused with apricot jam, and a delicate cream sauce. Served warm, with custard. (V)
Owen, from Harrogate, competed in BBC MasterChef UK in 2023 and finished as a quarter finalist. He now works as a private chef using the freshest, seasonal, ingredients and exciting local produce, combined with spices and herbs from his South African and Indian heritage.
Owen designs and creates incredible-tasting food for his private clients and regularly appears on stage at food festivals, sharing his passion for food with a whole new audience.
