We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about offering exceptional customer service and who can showcase the best of Yorkshire produce.

You will always have a smile for our customers and nothing’s ever too much trouble helping to create a truly Yorkshire experience.

You will be involved in many exciting areas of working on a busy deli counter from preparing freshly made sandwiches and salads, caring for our wide selection of Yorkshire cheeses and eagerly serving our customers, whilst ensuring a safe, clean and tidy environment.

You will have lots of customers to serve, but you will be part of a great team with support.

While previous food service experience may be an advantage, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn is much more important to us.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 operational days of the week including weekends)

Working closely with the Catering Manager, you will help deliver outstanding food and exceptional customer service across the Fodder Kitchen (café) and Fodder Takeaway.

This is a hands-on role leading the front of house team, motivating staff, and ensuring every customer leaves happy.

You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the café, build strong relationships with the kitchen team, and take responsibility for running shifts — sometimes independently. You’ll ensure high standards of service, food safety and hygiene, stock control, and team knowledge, while promoting Fodder’s ethos of showcasing Yorkshire producers.

This role is shop based and will lead to supporting the deli too.
