Shop Supervisor

Hours of work:  Full time, 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 operational days of the week including weekends).

This is a hands-on role and you must have the experience, energy and desire to develop this key role, as we continue to grow. To manage the overall daily operations of the shop and deli, ensuring efficiency and financial targets are met. To train and motivate the team and to ensure they are knowledgeable about the amazing Yorkshire products we serve.

You’ll ensure high standards of service, food safety and hygiene, stock control, and team knowledge, while promoting Fodder’s ethos of showcasing Yorkshire producers.

Shop
Shop Assistant

Hours of work:  Part time, 16 hours per week over two days, must include 1 day in the weekend. Monday to Sunday.

To have a positive attitude and the tenacity to get the job done – from taking deliveries, to merchandising the shelves, helping customers to using the till and a commitment to work hard and have fun. This role is shop based and will lead to supporting the deli too.

Kitchen
Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant

Hours of work:  Part time, 6 hours per week, working one day on a weekend.

The ideal candidate will have the initiative, drive and determination to succeed in the role, as we continue to grow. To assist in the overall daily operations of the kitchen and support Fodder takeaway, helping to ensure great quality food & service, by the catering team.

Café
Assistant Café Manager

Hours of work: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 operational days of the week including weekends)

Working closely with the Catering Manager, you will help deliver outstanding food and exceptional customer service across the Fodder Kitchen (café) and Fodder Takeaway.

This is a hands-on role leading the front of house team, motivating staff, and ensuring every customer leaves happy.

You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the café, build strong relationships with the kitchen team, and take responsibility for running shifts — sometimes independently. You’ll ensure high standards of service, food safety and hygiene, stock control, and team knowledge, while promoting Fodder’s ethos of showcasing Yorkshire producers.
