A luxurious mid-week meal must involve some wonderful cheese and pasta. Give this delightful pasta bake a try. Make this veggie by removing the sausages and adding more broccoli.
Preheat your oven to 180°c fan, slightly oil a large casserole dish. Boil a large pot of water with 1 tbsp fine salt. Once boiled, add the pasta, cook for 7 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook for a further 3 minutes. Drain.
Pan fry the shallot, sausage chunks and grated garlic for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and fragrant. Finally add the tablespoon of ﬂour and mix so it coats everything in the frying pan.
Add to a large mixing bowl along with the cheese, cream, milk, mustard, lemon zest and season with salt and pepper. Add the partially cooked pasta and broccoli and mix.
Pour into your prepared casserole dish and bake for 12-15 minutes until bubbling and golden.
